Almond Shortbread Crust

Directions

Sift together flour and confectioners sugar. Cut in butter until mixture resembles coarse meal. Stir in 1/3 c. sliced almonds. Chill 30 minutes. Turn into 9-inch pie pan. Press into bottom and sides to form crust. Bake at 425 for 8-12 minutes, until it browns. Cool.
