Cherry Almond Glazed Pork

Rub roast with salt and pepper. Place on rack in baking pan. Roast uncovered in 325 F oven for 2-2 1/2 hours. Meanwhile, combine remaining ingredients except almonds heat to boiling, stirring frequently reduce heat and simmer for 2 min. Add toasted almonds. Keep sauce warm. Spoon enough hot cherry ssauce over roast to glazereturn to oven for about 30 min. or until meat thermometer registers 170. Baste roast several times during last 30 min.. Pass remaining sauce with roast.
