Chewy Chocolate Chip Oatmeal Cookies

Preheat oven to 350 F. In a large bowl cream butter and sugars together for 4-5 minutes. Add eggs and vanilla and beat for 4-5 minutes longer until mixture is light and fluffy. Add dry ingredients and mix well. Add chocolate chips. With a 2-inch ice cream scoop or tablespoon make 2-inch balls and place on a lightly greased cookie sheet. Bake for 7-8 minutes only. (Cookies will be slightly underbaked.) Cool.
