Keslers Favorite Sugar Cookies

Preheat oven to 450.

Sift flour, measure, and sift in the remaining dry ingredients.

Cream shortening, add sugar. Stir in vanilla, beat in eggs until fluffy. Add flour mixture, alternating with sour cream in 2 or 3 protions, mixing well until smooth after each. Cover bowl and chill for an hour or so to firm dough for easier rolling. Roll out on a lightly floured pastry cloth 1/4 inch thick.

Bake 9-10 minutes.
